Tasty Shrimp Cocktail

Wow your friends with our “coctel de camarones” recipe! Now that the weather is warming up, it’s time to keep your cool with this super easy and super delicious chilled shrimp cocktail appetizer. We’ve spiced things up by adding our favorite chili sauce, Dua Belibis, into the cocktail sauce – it’s the perfect mix of spicy and sweet!

6 cups of water
2 cups white wine
1 tsp lemon juice
1 celery stem, chopped
1/4 white onion, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
1 tbs whole black peppercorn
15 whole shrimp, raw
1 cup ketchup
1 tsp tapatio sauce
1/4 cup horseradish
1/2 cup Dua Belibis chili sauce

•Chop the celery, onions, and carrots
•In a large sauce pan, add the water, white wine, onion, celery,
carrots, whole black peppercorn, and lemon juice
•Bring all to a simmer
•Clean and devein the shrimp
•Drop the shrimp into the poaching water until they are fully cooked
but not rubbery. Set them aside to cool down (chill if desired)
•In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, tapatio, horse radish, and
Dua Belibis to make the cocktail sauce
•Serve the cocktail sauce with the shrimp
