Korean Bibimbap At Home
One of our favorite hot meals to make is the Korean dish known as bibimbap. Bibimbap, which can be translated to mean “mixed rice” in Korean, is a hot dish that is typically composed of veggies, rice, chili paste, meat, and a fried egg that is mixed all together right before it’s eaten. This fun and colorful meal is packed with flavor and quick to prepare; to make it even easier, you can use pre-made sides available at your favorite Asian/Korean market. We love the spiciness of this dish, so we’ve added Dua Belibis into the hot sauce to kick it up a notch!
1 1/2 white rice, cooked
1/4 cup carrots, shredded and steamed
1/4 cup Korean spinach, cooked
1/4 cup bean sprouts, cooked
1/4 cup kimchi
1/4 cup pickled cucumbers
1/4 cup sesame shiitake mushroom (cooked)
