Delicious Firecracker Fish Balls recipe

With the holidays just around the corner, that also means that celebrations are in store. As the invitations start rolling in, it’s time to start thinking of what to bring. Our party-perfect “Firecracker Fish Balls” are just the dish to bring to your next get-together. This easy recipe will be sure to delight the taste buds of your friends and family, while also bringing something different to the table!

Made with Ayam’s Sardines in Tomato Sauce, the flavor of the fish is both sweet and savory, giving our fried fish balls a bold flavor when infused with the aromatic garlic and onions. The sweet and spicy dipping sauce is the perfect complement to our easy-to-eat appetizer!

1 can Ayam sardines
3 tbsp parmesan cheese
3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
1 tbsp garlic, minced
2 tbsp red onion, minced
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
salt and pepper
1 egg
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup hot sauce (e.g. sriracha)

•In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients except mayo and sriracha
•Mix them thoroughly
•Mold mixture to desired size balls
•Fry in 350 F oil (til they start to float)
•Remove from oil and set aside to cool down
•To make the sauce, mix mayo and sriracha together evenly
•When ready to serve, place the fried balls on a clean plate with the sauce and enjoy
