Crispy Battered Chicken Tenders
In the mood for something tasty to eat? Then try our recipe for spicy, crispy chicken tenders – it’s finger-lickin’ good! Chef Erwin’s recipe has a light crispy batter that has the perfect amount of flavor, crunch and spiciness.
16 oz chicken breasts, in strips
1 cup milk
1 cup Dua Belibis chili sauce
1 cup self-rising flour
2 tbs corn starch
1 tbs onion powder
1 tbs garlic powder
1 tbs cayenne pepper
•Cut chicken breasts into strips
•For the marinade, mix the eggs, milk, and Dua Belibis chili sauce
•Add the chicken strips into the marinade; refrigerate for 6 hours
•In a large mixing bowl, add and mix all the dry batter ingredients: flour, corn starch, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper
•Strain the chicken strips from the marinade and coat in the dry batter
•Fry them in a 350 F fryer until cooked with a crispy, golden brown color
•Serve with Dua Belibis hot sauce for dipping
