Chef’s Bio


Chef Erwin Tjahyadi is one of Los Angeles’ hottest rising culinary stars, most recently being honored with Zagat’s “30 Under 30” distinction. Tjahyadi received his training from Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, where he earned his degree with highest honors before starting his career with an apprenticeship with the prolific Wolfgang Puck. Tjahyadi then studied under the guidance of Chef Trey Foshee at San Diego’s prestigious Georges at the Cove before most recently completed a stint as lead cook at Hotel Bel-Air.

Specializing in mixing French traditional technique with his penchant for Asian fusion flavors, Tjahyadi created a signature modern California Asian fusion cuisine that has garnered a huge fan base in L.A. Tjahyadi is seasoned in orchestrating custom menus for everything from intimate dinner parties and weddings to entertainment industry galas and corporate large-scale dining events.
