Andrew Zimmern gave a visit to LA today for his internet video series “Appetite for Life” on MSN. Toyota is underwriting the show, in promotion of the new Venza. Komodo, World Fare, Dim Sum Truck and Kogi were onsite to make sure nobody left any room for appetite. Thanks to Ross and his crew for the pictures at RoamingHunger.com, we love it.

Last Saturday’s Outdoor Cinema Food Fest taking place in Downtown LA (by FIDM) was sick. We were so touched by the outpouring of fans coming out to see Swingers and waiting patiently for Komodo truck food. We hope it was all well worth it. We love you guys.

LA Lakers legendary Elgin Baylor loves his Asian Marinated Chicken Burrito, it’s a slam dunk in his book.

Our Forth of July was filled with fun memories, new friends, awesome tacos, sno cones, fireworks and hot dogs. It doesn’t get any better that that. Truck 1 celebrated with over 10,000 people at the fantastic Hansen Dam’s annual fireworks spectacular. Our crew crank out hundreds of Komodo special edition hot dogs, alongside stellar gourmet trucks- Frysmith, King Kone and more. It was such a fun group. Our Truck 2 got real lucky, rubbing elbows with the celebs at a spectacular private event nestled in the beautiful Hollywood Hills. We had such an awesome time, we didn’t want to leave!
