Mike is our resident Andrew Zimmern fan; he could not believe his eyes! We’re starstruck!

Andrew Zimmern gave a visit to LA today for his internet video series “Appetite for Life” on MSN. Toyota is underwriting the show, in promotion of the new Venza. Komodo, World Fare, Dim Sum Truck and Kogi were onsite to make sure nobody left any room for appetite. Thanks to Ross and his crew for the pictures at RoamingHunger.com, we love it.

Travel Channel Picks Komodo as one of LA’s Hottest Food Trucks

Yes, the LA Food truck buzz is still alive and well. We were recently interviewed and covered by the team at WalletPop and you can check out their article right here!

Mobile kitchens of previous generations might have called hot dogs or burritos their most expensive dish. Now, as Americans expect higher-quality ingredients and more sophisticated fusion dishes, you can find lunch trucks serving white truffle fries and kimchee tacos.

Fish n’ Grapes, with its crunchy, fried fish and the cool, cylindrical counterpoint of the grapes, making for a sweet-sour-salty trio of tastes rolled into a tortilla.
